    Logan River???

Hi Guys and Gals, looking at taking the kids fishing in the Logan river, and was wondering how it was fishing at the moment after the last lot of rain. I would appreciate any tips you could cast my way.
    Thanks ttone

not worth the trip.. water is like chocolate atm and nutthing much to cath... i would suggest going down a lil bit further on the freeway to jacobs well... leave from the cabbage tree pt ramp and head for the the pin. theres much cleaner water down there fishing the banks near the islands there..; good drifitng for some flatties or up near the rocks near the bar fro bream

The Bogan river looks like Willy Wonkas choco river! What the others said.. try around the pin area, or further south to the gold coast broadwater... better chance of catching something.

Mate, I would be trying closer to the bar, where there is a lot less fresh in the water.
You will find that the bream will be in the deeper water.
Are you in a boat or off the shore?
If in a boat, try along the deep water along short island or down the bottom end of Kalinga Bank, near Swan bay entrance.

    Hope this helps.
