    Gold Coast Fishing

Hi all, i'm looking for some good fishing spots in the broad water/seaway.

I have a fair bit of success in some of my regular spots but i'm looking for some new spots.

I'm chasing flathead, whiting & bream.

    Please help!

    Cheers, Breakthelines

Hi. I'm a newbe too. Still finding my way around. Haven't caught the trophy fish yet but had lots of fun. Have you tried Jabriu Isl, the pontoon at Paradise point or the pontoon at Turana St? Under some of the bridges can also be a bit of fun.
    Cheers

    BreakTheLines,

Are you yet to try behind Seaworld? I am yet to fish it but apparently it is quite good on the Lizards and Whiting.

A spot I have tried with good success is the Sand Pumping Jetty, all sorts turns up here including Juvenile Kingfish, Trevally, Tuna, Mackeral, Bream, Cod, Jewfish, Whiting and obviously Flathead. The Jetty is hard to fish off using soft plastics, quite easy to throw slugs at schools of fish though.

    Thanks Tom

slugs are those little shinny metal lures that you cast really far and retreive very fast. they are great for catching tailor.
