where would u go

, just trying to decide weather to take the camper to moreton island for a week in july,or go to teewah,an which beach would fish the best,moreton or teewah,been to moreton many times but cost wise of vechile & camper gets a bit dear,what are your thouhts or where to go,thanks adrian

I've never fished moreton but I have teewah many time (years ago though)

I love teewah! pippies and dart every gutter the eye can see! plenty of hefty brim there too. I have never tried for any other species there though, but there are definitely tailor. I like it due to the sheer amount of fishable beach.. if someones in one spot, drive down a k and find another!

moreton is more expensive to get there, but worth it in my opinion. Much less traffic and somwhere to fish with the wind behind you regardless of which way it's blowing.

I'm off to Teewah for a week in July. Go up around the same time every year, mid week there's bugger all people up there, can usually camp without anyone near you. The traffic is minimal and the fishing s usually pretty good. Dunno about Moreton as I can't be buggered paying the barge cost to get there.
