Tailor,Trevally,Jewies and Sharks..!!!!

Been getting a good mix in the river with Tailor,Trevors,small jew and Sharks.
Some pretty big sharks around and we have spotted some 6ft'ers cruising.
The amount of plastics and jig heads I have lost to tailor recently isn't funny and we have lost a few hooked tailor to sharks.

Yesterday Nick and I went to even the score a little and put out some tailor as livies.....we landed two bullies for the afternoon,and some good wrestles with them.

Both sharks were released....and swum off very well.

Dont go swimming up here at the moment.

Wow pete,

They are some great photos. Those sharks are an amazing looking animal! They get a bad rap but you can't help to appreciate their build. Well done on the trevs and nice little jewie.

Did those bullies come out of the channel or were they crusing the shallows when they took the tailor?

Nugg....Nicks trevally is a tea leaf....

Cuzza....Not Gold coast mate...Noosa.

Bermo...been using the TLD on the Noahs with 30lb mainline.....long length of 80lb for body wear and of course wire at the working end.

Nick got another today....I will upload a pic later.

Absolutely bloody awesome effort!
You two really have the local scene very well sussed. Reports like this open my eyes to the great opportunities for some real fun in the river at the moment.

I thought your boat looked similar it is exactally the same stessco catcher as mine. Hey good fish there and a good camera to. All good sized fish. Boy thats some good sized fish from the inlet. Every time i go up there for holidays i hit it hard and never seen that many good species in one day let alone one week. Well done boyz.

Yeah Ben,

Kawana......It will be a good specialised shop.

Game fishing,Jigging,Popping,Bream luring etc etc......All areas are going to be covered really well.

Keen to hit the sand soon mate.
