Nuggstar I am getting so accustomed to seeing your threads in this section that I am beginning to suspect that you actually must get paid to go fishing.
You are a true addict. I wish I had that luxury of fishing before work but I put in long hard days so only make the most of the time I have off to wet a line. Well done to you though. You seem to get results frequently.

Thanks again for the sesh this morning mate, the advice especially.

I hooked and landed two nice tailor after you left, both good size too, one was about the same as yours, the other a bit bigger.. Great fun, though I might opt to go a bit lighter on the line, 15lb might be a bit heavy and I think more fun could be had by going a bit lighter.

I went back at about 930 just for giggles and did hook up.. After a nice struggle I landed a ray... I had jagged it through the thinnest parts of it's tail about 10cm from the tip. What are the chances?

No photo's im afraid, I didn't have mine with me and I let them both go to fight another day/angler.

ya gotta take pics mate. i wish i could have seen em. they go hard hay, did they jump for ya. that wind was crazy at the other spot i hit. i hope it calms down for saturday and sunday, i wanna give the mud island snappa a raping with nico and try and trall one of them 80+cm jew they have been getting around here on barra lures (hehe in joekings canoe hehe)

Yes well, if you didn't up and leave you could have taken the shots, instead you left and didn't catch any at the other spot hehehehe.

They did go well, they didn't get up in the air, but it was still nice seeing those big swirls as she came to the surface.

I gave my x-rap a run this morning too, but didn't get any touches.. I might try the deeper diver at some point.

Gawd, she was quiet there this morning though. I landed a baby tailor and had a couple of hits, that was the size of it.. How did you go at the wall afterwards nuggs?

Nice going Nuggs youve got that river all worked out.I love Maroochy too and scoring a few Jew there is on my list to do.lol. That last pic of the jew with the colouring looks like a croaker jew which dont grow real big.
