I have a matrix12 sounder at the moment with gps connected. I want to get a more powerful sounder. I have seen a matrix 737 with 620V X 320H & 500 RMS, this is a lot more powerful than my present unit. I fish mainly river & bay
My questions are,
Does it make sense to use the matrix 12 as a GPS only & the 737 as a sounder.
Would the GPS in the 737 be more power full or clear to veiw.
If i ran the 737 with it's own transducer will i get interferance from the other units transducer.
I like the idea of stand alone units but would i be better just using the 737 for both modes.
Is there a down side to buying a discontinued unit
i'd use the matrix12 as your gps display and the new 737 as your sounder. having seperate screens is heaps better than trying to view everything on one screen in my opinion ............. except if you've got enough cash to buy one of those displays that's as big as a tv screen of course.
