Theres Nothing like a good days fishing.
I think you might want the cooking section.......
The funniest thing that I have heard of was the bloke who went out off Lennox Head to christen his brand new boat.........
what did he catch that day........a Giant Cuttle....story I was told said it was in the 20 odd kg range................but may not have been quite that big
What did skipper do........gaffed it and pulled it on board.....................
What did the cuttle do..................
I laughed my hole out when I was told......
He has a permanent reminder to never do it again

Mate was telling me yesterday he prefered cuttlefish to squid . Always just used them for bait the cuttle fish will give them a go

There is a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot
I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be without sponges
Up here we Use Hussar as baits for real RED FISHS (SHSIIFDER)
Cuttlefish is more tender with a better texture. Cut it into strips and treat likr Calamari. Its top stuff

I absolutely prefer cuttlefish over squid, a little more forgiving in the cooking process, sweeter meat and generally more meat per creature.
