lowrance x135

I am wondering if anybody knows why the backlight on my lowrance x135 unit might be flashing and not staying on.The unit itself works fine but I can't get the backlight to stop flashing.

I have checked the wiring and the connections to the battery and they are all good.

I am buggered if I can work it out.

Anyone got any ideas

Im guessing it's a dry joint on the motherboard....which would give you and intermitted connection.......Nice sounder the mate has one on his boat...excellent resolution....Cheers Whitto

I had one mate threw it in the bin, it started like that then it started to drop took it in to claim warranty and they said it had expired by 3 weeks so the rest is history.....
