We're going down to Fingal Caravan Park 4th July to 12th July, just that week.
We have a Cruise Craft Seametre 6mt half cabin.
Keen to go outside for some decent fish but would be great to go out with others!
Anybody going there or live in the area who are planning some fishing trips during that week?
On the other hand I would like to travel up the Tweed as far as we can, when it's to windy to go out, has any-body done that and how far is suitable? At least one night on the water, stop off where-ever. Murwillumbah is 14 nm, maybe nothing above that?
Mate ,
not to sure what your asking, but there is a few spots off the Tweed that are worth a fish, same for the Tweed river.
If you want some more details give me a pm and I'll see what I can sort out for ya.
If you need a deckie while your here I'm keen

I fished outside last Sunday but was pretty slow - has been some good reports of Snapper from Fidos recently though.
Fished inside the Tweed on Monday and managed to find a few decent Flatties, but the river is still quite dirty with plenty of fresh (and large floating debris) still in the river. Fished up river as far as Stott's Island but had better results down river. It should clean up by the time you are down here though if we don't get too much rain in between.
I would think you shouldn't have any problems getting to M'bah in your boat, especially on the rising tide. I have been up river as far as Condong and can't think of any areas you would have trouble with - in the daylight anyway.
