Giday all have been up at palm is working for the past month, finally got the chance to get out to the reef.

Went out with too other blokes.

Left palm at 9am for a flat run out to the barrier reef.
first drop we all had tripple hook ups on tea leaf travs.
next drop busted off, and so on this went.
arrived at the reef approx 1 hr from palm.

first drop again tripple hook up on trout beautiful fish
the day progressed and we were wishing for some wind, as it was bloody hot out there.

all n all it was a top day great fishing will be going out again real soon .

There is a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot

I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be without sponges

Up here we Use Hussar as baits for real RED FISHS (SHSIIFDER)

Yeah thanks samson it is but when you fish with our indiginious brothers everything is fair game, even green zones dont apply to the native people.

IT's an addicting sort of fishing up north around the reef.

Good to see you got onto a couple of good fish.

Yeah fair enough, mates a native abbo down hear on the tweed and fisheries wouldn't let that fly but if they did he'd get a free pass on my boat any day.
