    Mixed Seafood Basket

Hitting the water early this morning found us confronting a sloppy southerly was we decided to sit it out till it dropped for a few hours around the islands.
Throwing the jigs around we nice haul of 17 squid with varying sizes with a couple horse models.

After hearing the weather we slapped it our to some ground east and anchored up for a fish. Fishing ws slow with massive catches of trigger fish over and over again. Then scoring a red at 63 and a mixture of black king hussar and lippers.
We hooked 3 nice trout between us and a nice red before deciding to hit another spot closer in for change of tide . first drops we bags a redjew then a two way hook up with 2 nice reds then a great sized lipper before it shut down again between dropping some good fish

Between calamari and trout fillets we done well

There is a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot

I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be without sponges

Up here we Use Hussar as baits for real RED FISHS (SHSIIFDER)

    Good onya JT
Those trout and reds are real gems.
I reckon its going to be like the Bourke street mall out there tomorrow with the amount of boats heading out from here.
