    Where? North NSW gutter to fish.

    Hi all, have not done any fishing for ages and was wanting to cahse a few tailor on saturday night.

    Was just wondering where to head, I was thinking Ballina. But is there a fishable gutter.

    Any info is much appreciated. I only want to fish the beach not the rocks.

    P.S Is it the Cabarita comp this weekend? I hope not.

    There are few coming back around Ballina atm. Best spots though are from the rocks. Black Head and Nth Wall are safe as houses. Nice green backs from nth wall on Tues caught with hard bodies on the run up tide. You could also try the sthn beach side of Black Hd for a mixed bag. It was fishing well a couple of weeks ago. Have a drive around and you will find a spot. BUT you may have company as the Caba green back comp is on. I am expecting people fishing down at Woody Hd this weekend that have entered so it may be a crowded weekend.
