i purchased a platey last year from a dealer and if i had my time again i would do things differently. would have brought direct from the manufacturer and not had it painted. would have had the donk installed by a dealer but done the fit out myself.
You Lump, are a villain
I am looking at a cuddy cab as there is no point getting soaked i have some information on plate alloy kit boats from victoria does anyone know about these boats or any other kit boat manufactures?
There was a post on here from a guy building a cat from a cut kit. Do a search and you should find it. Leigh

Make something Idiot proof and they make better Idiots
i think it is not worth it when you can go direct to somone like bluewater and get it done to the highest standards in the country and good value for what you get imo. I would ring scott and have a chat about different designs etc. Regards Mark

Hervey Bay Nice.
Both Kit supliers mentioned here
http://www.sealifedesigns.com/ at Nundah Brisbane
and you one in Vic http://www.platealloy.com/index.htm Have been supplying flat packs for Quite a while now.
Had a friend that ended up getting one built in the finish but reserched both throughly.
If you give them a call they can usually let you know of someone in your area that has either built one or has one under construction.
At lest you can obtain an honest opion on how they went together ect instead of listening to free advertising quote's
Hope it's of some help and good luck with your project!
