where to luderick?

hey guys i was just watching a luderick video of coastwatch (http://www.coastwatch.com.au/Fishing/FishingVideo-631/)
just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction for a land based spot?
I saw some older fellas trying at board walk caloundra but they didnt catch anything. would it be worth a try and fisherman island bridge at the mouth?]

Gold coast, seaway south wall, from the end of the wall back,the last 100 metres or so, when the tide is lowish. When they are there you can see them, you have to walk out on the rocks on the lower shelf hence the bottom half of the tide is the go. Also down the tweed from all reports, and at Brunswick heads in north NSW.;

Mate if you can get yourself over to north staddie there is some great spots at point lookout and amity rockwall . there is plenty of cabbage on the rocks aswell at point lookout and weed at the creek at cylinder beach.attached is some photos of fish that I got last time

Now they are some QUALITY blackfish Mexikan. Do you need a long handle net over there?

Caloundra boardwalk can fish very well for blackies when they are on and it can be very hard to get a drift with some of the old regulars being quite protective of this spot. Rockwalls at fishermens Islands see their fair share also but once again can be very teritorial. Be polite and show some courtesy as most of the guys are OK after you break the ice. I have also seen some quality blackies taken at Deepwater bend in the Pine. the area around the leaning gum seems to be the preferred spot. (but you didn't hear it from me )

Cabbage weed can be collected off the sides of most jetties and pontoons etc and green stringy weed can be found growing on the rocks of the redcliffe peninsula and foreshore at Sandgate and shorncliffe especially after a good spell of westerlies to cool and clear up the water.
