    squidgying for jewfish???

    can u squidgy for jewie if so i shall give it a try i usually get flathead but apparently they are the wrong squidgies so any tips please

    He'll yes you can. I have to confess i have still not caught a jew on plastic but there is no reason why a big old jew wouldn't be interested in a nice big chunk of rubber in the shape of a mullet or large bait fish.

    I got a pack of bozo's that are a nice mullet look a like that i think would be good and if your keen on squidgies go for a big (130 - 150mm) white squidgy fish.

    Often times it is technique more so than the right plastic for jewies. A very well guarded technique involving red and white feathers usually.

    Also, do not be afraid to work over a piece of water you suspect holds them more than 10 times in a day. If you think they hold there, they most likely do, they just don't play all the time.

    Do not be afraid of colours either, Jew do not mine anything from clear to black from blue to yellow.

    white 7 inch gulp is a winner head weight to suit conditions atomics in the 6 inch also go well

    The 130MM Squidgie Slick Rigs in Drop Bear are another favourite as so for Flathead.
