Just got the boat back after having a bit of work done and a service, so despite the forecasts and the fresh decided to take it for a quick run out as i haven’t had the boat in for a few weeks. Got to the Pinkenbar ramp at about 12.00, and there was a lot of debris around so cleared a route down to the water, lunched and we were away. Headed for the mouth where it looked like they were dredging and for some reason my wife didn’t like the look of the dredger and she wouldn’t let me pass it (i know, she's crazzy but i love her!)!!! So headed back to the pipe line where she proceeded to catch a squire and two flat head, with one just under becoming tea! With me only getting one hit that doubled the rod in the holder and bricked me straight up! After an hour we packed up and set off for home. The bay look almost flat not what i was expecting, so did i read it wrong, was it the SE wind dirrection or is that just the way it is sometimes?? So yet again out fished by the wife! But great weather conditions that i was not expecting. Not that i could make the most of them because of the big scare dredger!! Tight lines gazza
the beach on the ctiy side had gone! well when i say gone there was so much rubbish on it it looked more like a land fill site! just as we were pulling the boat out they closed the ramp for cleaning so it should look alot better today! not sure if he was there for the debris, or to clean the green slime of it!!!
