    Bait/Tackle shop owners.

Can any of you, or the Owner/Moderators, tell me what the position is on ordering and giving financial details for a product?

If you order and give your bank details, are the suppliers obliged to supply?

Not angry, or trying to cause problems for anyone. Just very curious.

    Regards, Rob.

No they are not obliged. Unless they actually charged your card or withdrew from your account... in which case they must provide a refund, or provide the item, or provide another item of no less value after consulting with you.

they cant supply what doesnt exist. and that scenario can change on a daily basis. what was stated as available yesterday (though more likely anytime within the last twelve months re their published catalogue) can be discontinued byt the supplier/manufacturer at any time without prior notice. I presume the scenario was : see what you want in the catalogue, place the order, provide credit details(or deposit), recieve phone call/communication from store that product no longer available from supplier, deposit refunded/no amount deducted. Hopefully store would have suggested appropriate alternative if they were good at what they do...but option is back to you.

    As I thought.

    Nuff said.

Oh well, back to the drawing board.
