hoping someone can help with a way to keep dust out of the back of my ute when travelling on dusty roads, now i understand i can put some vents on the front of the canopy to let air in when underway but there is a problem with on comeing traffic any ideas anyone?

They work heaps better than an unpressurised tub. I have one flexiglass black flappy one in the middle of the top at the front (?). 2nd ute I've done it to.
They also keep the heat down inside.
Some dust still gets in but trying to seal a ute tray completely has its own issues.
In the cabin it's driving with outside air on full that keeps the dust out, then the flick to inside air when a car passes or overtakes so dust is in the air. Following along that line stick a bung or the like in the rear cabin wall to make it a part of the cabin airflow, still you would need a good well fitting cover to make the idea work well.
