In the Wello, Green and Peel area of the Bay, what effect does the recent rain have on fishing. Should we leave it for a week or so, or is now or a day or two the best time. My target fish are Squire in the reefy areas and Flathead on the banks.

Mate with all the rubbish and tree material etc we have seen floating past us on the Brisbane river you would be brave to venture out. Everything we have seen, including logs etc, are all heading out into the bay.
Even the local tugs working in our stretch of the river have slowed right down and are crawling through.
