Who's at the Fraser comp????

Just wondering how those fishermen at Fraser are getting on atm! I reckon if your on the leader board this weather would be putting a smile on your face but other than that it would be pretty miserable up there and i think the forecast is for the conditions to get worse before they get better later next week so i hope every one ok! ! Wasn't it last year that a east coast low caused an evacuation or was that the year before?

I was up there for work from friday to monday,the conditions were absolutely fantastic but they have gone downhill badly.
When I left the leading red was 12.7kg,the leading green jobfish was 10.95kg,and the lerading wahoo was about 20.7?kg,there were a lot of other nice fish I just cant remember all the sizes.
It was really an interesting spectacle watching all the boats come and go from the gutters,sunday arvo was particularly entertaining to watch.
I was amazed at the size and amount of boats up there.
I was also dissapointed at the amount of rubbish and plastic on the eastern beach,in some places it was very disturbing.I will say thay most of it appeared to be washed up plastic.
All in all it was a great trip and it is a shame it was the last.
Oh and I almost forgot I met some lovely young ladies from denmark who were visiting,that for me was the catch of the trip

Heard Nugget on the radio before. All boats are grounded and there is no-one fishing the beach.

Im not at the comp, but the weather has been good at Hervey Bay. We got an inch or so of rain on Tues nite, but no rain all day weds, and no wind to speak of either. Wind was avge 10kts all day at Urangan.

Heard Nugget on the radio before. All boats are grounded and there is no-one fishing the beach.

Boats were not allowed out for 2 days of the comp and there were plenty of stupid guys like me fishing the beaches day and night every day of the comp.Cheers Jamie
