Mike and I ventured out to Mud on friday afternoon..as soon as we started fishing we were getting some bites and some undersize fish. All of a sudden some female from a boat about 100 metres north of us starts yelling " I've got a snapper, I've got a snapper". I just muttered under my breath something about a homicidal act about to take place...then the blokes on the boat give her encouragement...don't lose it, it is a good one..then they all cheer as they get the fish on board..i just mutter about mass murder by this time.
Anyway...we moved around a bit..some more undersize plus:
1 small shark
1 toad fish
1 grinner
1 shovelnose
1 wobbegong
God I love this pastime of fishing.
We moved around a bit more and no improvement..called it quits and head back to Whyte island..arriving back at about midnight..I did find out one thing..my night time distance vision is appalling these days..lucky Mike was there.
Once again the WWF came, saw and did not conquer..always next time in the ongoing saga...I sitll reckon it must be you Mike...hehe

and its hurts when the boat next to you is carrying on about how big their snapper is when your out muscling under sized squire , at one stage i think we had all rods going, excitement and mayhem until we hauled them in??
We even caught the same shark twice in the space of 5 seconds, I think Greg hooked him properly but I got him in the date just after Greg cut him off??
A typical WWF trip, lots of laughs and no fish....and this time we werent fishing off the African coast..but thats another story hehe

The term 'Snapper' also involves a lot of time, effort, fuel, nervous energy, staring at screens, rubbing of hands and countless hours in tackle shops and sheds,

Bugger, the grinner was a horse too??? but the toady was a wimp... reckon next trip we will have to get a better toady hehe

Ray..I just looked back at some pics on the computer..last time I got a decent feed was at the Pin..a heap of bream...that was in June last year..not a decent fish since then...am seriosuly considering looking around at which golf clubs have reasonable membership rates.
golf?? needs patience which disqualifies you immediately?? and the golf carts aren't 2 strokes.
