    Honing the skills for winter

Went out on the brisse river on Firday night late chasing the high tide.Conditions looked good, after checking a few of usual haunts that northly swell with a nw wind put these out of action. So we decided to look for some new ground just out in the bay, found a nice hump on the sounder decided to give that a go Bang straight on 33cm Squire, managed about 30 of these guys every one just under. Got 15 of my old favorites bream between 28 cm and 35cm with a couple of horses going 39cm. my mate got a monster catfish 5-6kg i reckon, i couldn't stop laughing as he call it for jew. it was late night but better than staying at home! Sorry forgot the camera!
