looking at doing trip to cape york or west coast nt for week mothership or lodge maybe wondered if any body had reccommendations. On the list to compare carpentia seafaris at the cape, island explorer up in NT, arukun mothership,mataray at the cape,melville island lodge,barra lodge at mary river NT,prices are fairly similar.just looking for any feedback on any of these trips,it will be a once in a lifetime trip unless lotto comes up.I'm more interested in luring the creeks than bluewater stuff cheers Yamp

Mate i am heading up to darwin for a 5 day BARRA and BLUEWATER safari with BARRA BASE DARWIN on saterday ,i get back next saterday we will be fishing the finess river and the peron islands and around the areas near dundee beach . Its a full 5 day charter fishing 6-6 pm everyday ,all up with accomadation , food ,flights from brisbane and travel insurance its a little over $4 k but it is once in a lifetime thing ,my wife bought it for me for my 50th ,i will post a report when i get back and let you know what i think .........matt

maybe have a look at punsand bay at cape york, there is a charter boat running out of there. he has a lot of photoes on his website
