hey Tom, yeah they were healthy fish, the gear is just a abu 5000 baitcaster and a tsunami bullseye 5-8kg baitcaster rod, cheers bk

i fully agree with the new size limit for jew, even when it was 45 i wouldn't keep one until it got around 70-75. They are a very special fish, got a couple the other night 55 and 65 and put em straight back, u did the right thing man.

I've found big catties will scale the bait also. Sorry to possibly deflate the enthusiasm for a jewie but catties do it aswell if you rip the bait out of their mouth. Ben
