    I have used mico mullet in both pink and gold with a fare bit of success.

    hi there to anwser your question any brand of lure that tickles the bottom and kicks up sand and the colour any, but pink works well and gold and some good lures to have are a manns strech5 greyghost and black and gold or any small profile lure will work as well as long as the lure is hitting the bottem it will work ,the joy of it is to catch one on something you have chosen i hope this helps.

    my first ever fish caught on a lure was a 50cm flatty on a gold and orange micro-mullet, ever since then it has always done the job.

    theres heaps of good hard bodies for lizards but my fav is a Manns stretch 5 in crimson (pink and black) Cheers Andrew

    I've never used them for flatties, but when I bought some Manns stretch 10's the guy at the tackle store mentioned they were effective for flathead, especially in the hot pink colour.
