Pajero diesel... Opinions?
Hi all!
I'm after some opinions of the new diesel Pajero from those that have one or have driven one. What are they like for towing, touring, beach & bush driving. We have a family of 5 and may consider one of these next.

Leigh
I have driven the new diesel it has way more power than the last model and is great to tow a boat with. I have not done any offroading in the car but people i know say it is fantastic. The advantage i have is that i work for a company that sells them.
Good luck

Thanks Craig!
Any bad points worth mentioning about them?
Are you biased towards them, given that you sell them?

Hi
We have a 2006 Exceed T/Diesel. Great power, great economy. I know some here will say buy a cruiser or patrol, but for me it's the wifes daily driver so pajero's size was much better for her. Looked at the Prado, but found the Paj better to drive and got more for our $$. Tow a 5.3 Haines reguarly and also a Van that when loaded is a touch under 2T. Did a 2000km trip last year with the van, car loaded solid with 3 kids and all their gear and averaged 13.3L/100km which I was pretty pleased with.
Cruises easily on the highway towing the van, didn't have any probs maintaining 100 up any hills.
Off road - have only had it on the beach and went as well as any other 4WD i have owned before.
