Hey FishyFrost, I never fish around Oyster leases so wouldn't have a clue on how they would fish that enviroment but I do know they are killer on the flats. When using Flick Baits I like to use Gamakatsu fine wire hooks. Around the 1/32 size and a size 1 hook. Other jigheads I use are the Resin Heads and don't forget TT hidden weights when the fish are spooky. My favourite colours are the Pillies followed by Flash Prawn.

Good luck and tell us how you go.

Where abouts are you fishing? How deep is the water?

have a look on the back of the nirto jigheads packs it will give you a idea on how fast the jig will drop..

i only use the nirto and TT jigs work well for me try 1/8 lead if you have a little run in the water.

it is up to you try some and see what works for you mate we all fish a little diff to the next person..

best of luck with what you try..

if your fishing the floating racks throw them in on a #4 resin head let it drop slowly underneath it adn use the current to pull it under and hold on.
for racks depending on where you are i would choose between two colours. in clearer water go evil minnow and in dirty water go flash prawn. gove them plenty of movement becasue the they are very flexible and do jump around a bit .
once it drops un der the rack give it two short sharp twitches. if nothing happens on the pause pull her in in and cast again. keep it in the shady side of the rack as well.
    hope this helps
