First Foray in Brisbane....

Well, last weekend, we headed down to the Goldie to visit family.... although decided that I'd give one of the reef fishing trips a crack to get my son out on a boat and try our luck.....

Well rang a few dudes up and managed to find one with three vacancies for my son (5yo), wife and I..... our daughter stayed at grandma's for the morning instead.... as she is only 4yo and would have been a handful on the boat!

So we went out..... did some trolling on the way out.... nailed a few mac tuna..... then once all on board had landed one..... off to the reef.... things were pretty quiet on the reef with only a few little snapper getting caught and a few slimies and yakka's...a few other fish but that was about it....

My son had a ball, and was pretty impressed with the tuna.....

Hey Barrow,

We went out with gone fishing. Overall I was very happy with the service. They were the first to get back to us with a vacancy as it was a pretty last minute affair...... but it was a very good day. Friendly staff and a clean well set up boat.

They have a nice boat and always seem to catch fish. I saw them being towed in about a week ago but not user what happened.
