Gday mate, just to the south you have ningi creek,i dont know much about ningi.Just to the north you have elimbah creek, this creek goes on forever, there is a huge amount of fishing variety in elimbah, from sandbars to deep holes and rock bars, there are a few very shallow areas so be aware of this.
Next creek going north is bullock creek,it runs of the channel that runs through past donnybrook, the entrance gets shallow but I have caught some great whiting and flatties in this creek.
After donnybrook the next creek is glasshouse mountain creek,it also goes a long way not as far as elimbah though, good for flatties, bream and I have castnetted a lot of prawns in this creek.
There is a boat ramp directly into elimbah creek for tinnies(Read small boats)at meldale, just take the donnybrook turnoff, then turn right just after the bridge,go straight to a three way intersection, take the middle road it will take you to the ramp.
Hope this helps.
Cheers Craig
