Needed all the oils changed anyway.............
Looked like a ute - a wagon would have floated if it wasn't loaded right up.
Yeah probably was a Ute, rear wheels should have lifted if it was a wagon but in 4wd they can still motor along on the front only...could be the case too i guess as the water was dead still. I noticed the car got real steamy inside...all that water coming in from flooded aircon vents
Regardless too deep for me

Looks like the general type of idiot who gets a good feeling from putting a bow wave through peoples living rooms...
We get flooded in a couple of times each wet season but the way I figure it is that, where the hell would I want to go when half the countyside is under water and to go sightseeing only causes problems...
Scott it sounds like you are pining for a late wet season Cape York trip...now that would be a cool adventure...
Scott
You and me both FNQ.
I've had water over the screen once or twice but only for a couple of metres.
My sphincter would have been going that's for sure - especially when he went for low range.
It's also a pretty sh!tty feeling waiting for a wagon to slowly fill with water so you can finally get some traction again - not fun, and tough on the sleeping arrangements for the next night or two
I'll see if I can find the link of a cruiser ute towing a boat over a flooded bridge - you seen that one?
Scott I have all the gear to make it happen to a maximum of 2 weeks roughing it (you will need your own tent, anytime you are brave and I am allowed it's a goer!
Could bring the 10 foot tinny and the mighty 3.5, cant go up without a boat.

dunno how to stick the vid up, so here's the link for my vote for 'Dad of the year'.
Bugger me it worked - there was a vid that showed the whole show sliding sideways until the guardrail caught it, but I can't find it now....
Try again.........

Thanks GBC thats a good one too, boat floated the trailer doubt a wagon would have made it with the flow over the road, cannot be just us, everyone must get spooked doing deep stuff, deepest I have ever been is water up the bonnet, way deep enough!!
cheers fnq
I'd love to see a bit of new countryside Scott...a bit of lazy fishing and maybe a crab or 2 would be a bonus...got a tent, foldup chairs, stoves, crab pots etc..
If you are serious ..I can get away up till august...oh and its pretty easy for me to piss off the missus enough for her to be glad to see me gone.....
Scott
Yeah serious Scott, should bring the trailer, don't like putting salty mud scungy tinnys on top my cars, not sure on a tip trip with only 1 vehicle but say princess Charlot Bay or somewhere else that's remote as we shouldn't need civilisation for a fair while, considering it's just a big daytrip to get in that region from here.
Wouldn't want a trip to get cancelled at the last moment after going through all that effort at home scott.
Will talk more.
cheers fnq
What an idiot. How many lives did he just put a risk. Knobber!
All I want is to catch MORE legal fish!
