    Warning - Dead Fish Photos

Today's effort after a cruisey 7:30 kick off time. 3 from 5 on the fin. Got smoked by what was probably a trevally that took us into the reef on a livey and had a flipper steal the jelly bean mack tuna we were trolling for a hoo. Went reef fishing and found a loaded float. As many mahi mahi as you wanted. Used up all the liveys, went to slugs and got them on slugs. Went to poppers and got them on poppers. Jayvee will be pleased to know they responded well to the anything retrieve. Got some awesome video footage. Just need a bit of time to edit all my mahi mahi footage from the last two seasons into one big compilation.

There is a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot

I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be without sponges

Up here we Use Hussar as baits for real RED FISHS (SHSIIFDER)

    Saturday's trip.

After a few mack tuna which were in plague proportions Dan who booked the charter ended up with this GT.

Rick was on fire on the Yellowfin getting them every which way, even spinning them up on slugs when we were pulled up after catching another mack tuna or two.

He got to do battle with a big whaler that stole one of my 12" Pakulas a while later.

All in all another top day on the water.

    Craig,

    PM sent.

    Jt,

I am sure they are there. Seith reckons he has seen them down Gladstone way.

    Bunny,

when are you popper boys coming down there? Could be a bit of fun! Certainly a few GTs about. Got them on hard bodies and skirts.

    Benny,

the beach run is definately the way to go some days either to Caloundra or up to Noosa.
