Blue Swimmers still about !

Have had my 4 pots sitting out at spot XYZ, North of Mud Is , since Monday Arvo. Have checked them twice for a good bag of 20 + Blue Swimmer crabs.

Size has been good with most going over the old size limit of 15cm tip to tip.
One horse went 19cm !!!!

A check and re-bait (good name for a boat ) is planned for this afternoon.

Hmm Crab for dinner tonight washed down with a nice bottle of Sav Blanc

Nice feed of swimmers wish they were in my nets

i went out this morning, friday and only got 11 out of 8 pots/dillies
i got 15 on monday out of 4...........i didnt like the tide today though, i prefer an incoming tide, what about you?

I like big tides with lots of flow. I find that the crabs go quiet at the top and bottom of the tide.

The sandies might be hightailing it out of the Bay with the onset of the cooler weather.

Yes Vert you know the spot north of those couple of beacons , picked the pots up yesterday, one went missing but the other 3 produced a dozen crackers. All well over the legal size.
