I am so jealous. I would love to catch reds that size. What area of QLD are you fishing? Must be up North?
Well done mate, worth the 3 hour drive.
Cheers
Dave

Awesome Greggo. Beats workin that's for sure. Tell me - were you already on the road when Foxy rang back to say he'd changed his mind and was gonna come??
Trento did pretty good up at 1770 too. No huge reds but they did get reds and nanny's.
Catch ya,
Macca.
PS - this is the first time I've been on here since the comp last year. That's what havin kids does to ya....
Its Been A While Hope The Green Peas Are All Good .will Head Back Up Soon . Will Work The Beach With The Same Energy Talk To U After The Comp
Greg, great to see you back out on the water doing what you do best. B'N'B is
not the same with out your input I hope this is rectified soon. We are down to our
last packet of Red fillets, from our last trip together. My dear wife can't wait till I
fill a frezzer basket with Red fillets again. How good is it when your wife
wants to you go fishing again!!
Hope to catch up soon Troy.
I did hear that Dave caught most of them because you were still recovering from the little drive back from down south
Looks like an awesome trip there, We fished out of rainbow on wednesday but conditions were quite average and ended up coming in early with a feed including a school red and nice snap and variety of other stuff, was hoping to head north 50-60km but no such luck, just ended up on the close grounds 30k east of the bar.
If you ever are happy for another boat to tag along on a trip would love to go red hunting, there is lots of ground out there to be explored thats for sure.
Well done on the catch and thanks for the report!
Anthony
Well Macca just another trip you missed out on mate I was just about heading out the driveway when Foxy rang. Only half hour before he said he was just to buggered and all fished out. Those addictive red fish soon got the better of him and I picked him up on the way through. Spoke to Trento and he seemed to have had a good trip. All we could ask him was yeah sounds like you had a good day Trento but did you get any Hussar.
Speak to you soon
P.s love that red in avatar macca you must had a great skipper to get you onto that fish
Hi Murf hope you have been well. I think the new boat has made me a bit soft. Sometimes I would rather sit on the comfy chair in the a warm cabin listen to a few tunes pump out of the cd player while backing up on the fish for the lads. The buggers then ask me to net there fish how inconsiderate.
Seriously its a bloody pleasure to be in and takes a lot less energy out of me now. Unfortunately we aren't going to the comp this year although me and foxy might sneak up for a few days for a look and have a yarn. Hopefully we can catch up with you for a chat.
Cheers,
Greg
Nice fish , worth the miles. good to hear the boat's treating you well.

Hi Troy hopefully soon I will get my butt back into gear and starting writing again. Will have to get you back out to restock the freezer again. I can feel a big red attack coming on soon.
ahahaha Sam I love big drives but unfortunately no excuses that trip foxy was on fire and couldn't do a thing wrong. .
Hi Anthony good to see you got a fish in even if it wasn't to the desired area but its still better then nothing. Actually this time of year the big reds move in close so its not a bad option if you want one of those XOS reds.
Cheers,
Greg
Greg,
Just wondering where you get your bait from and what sort - mullet fillets or whole and what price if it's not too much to ask.
