hey all dropped the boat in the pine yesterday hoping to get a few bream for dinner. found it hard to mullet for livies i could only get schools of herring in my usual bait spot so they would just have to do. went to my first spot an my bait who was fishing with bait dropped his line in while i rigged up a livie then out he went then got out the plastics. could not get a touch on any plastic an my mate wasnt doing much better with bait was about to move spot when i saw abit of movent on the rod with the livie picked it up an BANG straight in to the snags that will teach me to use 6lb with a good size livie on was thinking a cod as iv caught some nice cod at this spot befor. pulled anchor an went down to the high way bridge an back in with the lines. not to long after i nailed a nice little putty nose perch on the plastics while my mate was pulling bream catfish an toads no bigger then 15cm. anther putty nose for me an that was about it so we called it quits an went home empty handed but it was still a god day to be out on the water!
