    Copperhead Snake

    G'day everyone,

Thought I would post some photos of the latest rod. The rod was built for Robbie Smith the owner of Fish Hawk threads in the USA. I used, surprise, surprise, Fish Hawk Silk Sparkle and Metalic thread. The split grip area has some Texas Copperhead skin. The grips are inlayed EVA in chocolate brown, orange and grey. All the handle components are from matagi and the guides are Fuji MNSG's. This is a Show rod for the US Tackle circuit.

    Regards

    Re: Copperhead Snake

Thank you all for your great comments. I really appreciate everyone. This is my first rod for an overseas customer and it was a bit daunting at first. In the end I just did it "my way" and hoped for the best.

    Thanks again

    Awsome.

Where can I buy Fish Hawk threads. I find their metallics the easiest to work with, but can't get 'em anywhere that I know of.

    Re: Copperhead Snake

Buddy, contact Peter Williams at gccr@optusnet.com.au. I may be a little premature (not something un-usual) but I think Peter may have just become the Aussie distributor for Fish Hawk threads.
