zones stored as routes on raymarine A65

This is really only of use I suppose to Raymarine owners, but I noticed that after spending an eternity entering waypoints and joining them as routes to show green and yellow zones imposed on us by the jackboot wearing fraternity , er EPA,
that when I turn the unit on that these stored routes have defaulted to the "hide" mode and need to be brought up manually.
After a few emails to raymarine they tell me that the software has a function that turns off routes when there are more than a certain number to reduce screen clutter, but that , annoyingly, it cant be turned off. I am told that most recently used will be active but I'll have to pay attention in future to see if thats the case.
So it is a case of checking the stored names of relevant zones and showing those before they become relevant.

Not earth shattering stuff, but thought it may be of interest to some.

Any truth in rumour that c-map will have card with zoning by years end?
    Cheers, Brendan

    G'day Brendan,

All charts will supposedly have access to the information by the end of the year.
It is a Government thing - the information (even though it is already made public and is law) can not be added to the charts until the deals are done for the chart companies to be allowed (buy) access to this information.

It is a very easy task for them to add the information, they just need to buy permission.

    Cheers

    1. Is this with reference to EPA or GBRMPA or both?

Will it be an upgrade to current chart owners or only available to new buyers of charts?

With regards to the EPA inspired zones down south mainly.

I am led to believe that some / most of the northern zones (GBRMPA) have already been added.

    Cheers
