    Inskip weekender

With Saturday Sunday Monday off work we made the last minute plan to head up to Inskip pen, loaded up gear dog and wife and took a slow drive up Saturday morning collected some bait on the way up from Noosa to Double is point and after trying a few gutters for no fish headed over to Inskip to set up camp. After a good nights sleep got up nice and early and headed over to a gutter that we spotted just up from the cherry venture. Getting nothing on the fresh pip’s i thought i would try for some worms so put the rod in the holder and set about trying for a few worms, struggling to actual get some worms i sore the rod bend into what looked like a good fish. After a short fight in the surf I landed my pb ting at 41cm, that as it happens was the only fish of note for the weekend but was happy with that! A guy come over to have a bit of a chat turns out he was a pro wormer he took great pleaser showing me how easy getting worms actually was. All in all a nice weekend with a pb thrown in what more could I want?

    thanks boys!

Yer the secret to worming well that seems to still be a screet!! all i can say is he made it look really easy, but he just had what looked like a big fish tail attached to a rope around his waist and he was just picking up worms as if they were shells on the beach!!

Thanks nuggs after reading many of your post its nice to be able to give a little back!

    shane,
yer oaks is getting big now, the new tent did the job although its fll of sand now, i always forget the dustpan and brush! ive had to put the boat away for a while as last time i was out the tilt trim stop working and i have no cash to get it looked at right now, so if you'r heading out and have a seat give me a call! been out hunting pike yet??
