Good work mate.. I might give it one last go before it gets colder. Won't risk it after that though as I can fish and catch nothing over winter in the Maroochy and it won't cost me $25-$35
its realy tuff going matt. it might better to wait till september, i had to realy work my ass off to catch em
figjam
I might have to do some saving over winter so I don't go broke once it warms up again. haha
Damn Nugg, unlucky losing them big boys :/. Looks like you got another rod instead of that Dropshot? I'll be coming back up soon.
Tom
yer tom, two new rods to add to my arsenal. ones a loomis crank bait with a abu revo sx (verry verry nice to use and just feels right) and the other is a custom rod from hot rods i had made to suit my alphis, it arived broken with 14cm snapped off the tip but luckaly the curior is paying for a new one to get made for me, bit of a shame but as it was a consept blank from samuri and even with that much snaped off, its still a kick ass rod, cant wait for the new one to arive(new one will be a hasting blank but) its awsome for lobbing horny toads around the place. still using the drop shot. i got a 80cm on it on sunday night, i use it with my abu 6500 for live baiting and lobbing huge lures
figjam
Awesome stuff mate, what a job you have! unlucky about the metery's and the tarpon but i am sure you will get them again, Goodluck!
Breaming is my LIFE!!!

Fishing for the thrill, not for the kill
hehehehehehe. the ledgend lives on hahahaha
figjam
does anyone care about fish caught in a fish tank???
I do.. They can provide a fight and bust you off like any other fish in any other environment.. Fish in a river, a lake or an ocean and just like a pond, you know they're there somewhere, you just have to find them and provide them with what they're inclined to take on the day... Then you have to fight them and land them.
Seems like there is very little difference to me... Are you a bit sore because you have to work a little harder for the same outcome?
Matt.
