Re: best offshore hull under 6.2m

i have owned a few boats, glass and alloy, I now have an alloy, i also have been in Wahoo's boat (daza) and i must say it can handle anything one can throw at it, rides very very nice, i can't work out as to why it does, it gives a few glass boats a good run for it's money,

Seafarer Victory 6m or if you want a combo fish and social a Seafarer Vermont.

Very good seagoing ability, excellent resale, what else can you ask for?.

Been in Signatures, Seafarer Victorys and Vermounts been in Haines Warriors and other varity's been in Fishers , Cruise Crafts, Barcrushers, Galeforces ,JBS's, Savages , Spearfishers, Allisions and probably a few others and as Always Offshore said it's a Cat for sure no arguement ( anyone who disagrees has no idea )and maybe it's a 5.2 Kc but i reckon a 560 Sharkcat with twin 130's would be kickass!!!( sucking up to Pete as i might need some work done!)

I'm sure there a good boat, and Garry( Spaniard King) raves about his but the question was a boat under 6.2 meters! And a 6.0 edencraft is WELL above this! So is the 660 NC and the 6.2 KC Julian, but i do totally agree with the thought process!

My CruiseCraft 575 is not the boat you are after due to some limitations in nearly all of the good boxes but it has been out in some terrible weather conditions and it has always brought me back to safety. I think it is not just about fishing but also the getting back when it all turns to crap cos the weather is not what was predicted.

    Cheers
