There were heaps of boats out from the mouth of cabbage tree creek, shorncliffe friday morning, looked like they were after prawns as well.

Had a flick at the mouth of the Caboolture river Early Monday morning and there were 8 trawlers just off the yellow marker out from there trawling away, thats the first time i have seem so many trawlers out from there so close.
Wish I had the time to chase them, but this week I've promised friends to make butterfly coconut prawns for dinner , and my only test of whether the big bananas are around is whether I pay around $20.00 per Kilo or not. All offers greatfully received, although if I gave you any money for them and you don't have a commercial license that would be illegal wouldn't it?

Keep an aye open for refrigeration trucks on the foreshore. Past practices by those in yellow rain coats have seen 'em coming ashore, offloading, and going back out again.
