Just an inquiry - Does anyone going to the Session, live near Victoria Point? Need to pick up a reel and rod, so if someone is near, it would save me atrip down from Cooloola Coast.

I can grab it for you but I may not be able to make it to Somerset. The wife is crook and has 2 weeks off work. So it depends whether she improves enough for me to go.
I'm at Springwood, maybe some of the crew from south of the border could pick it up from here if I have to pull out.

Yes to all those Chris I've even caught them using a perforated oily tin of cat food....they are vegetarian by nature as well...Rocky's and par boiled spuds are the go......I use to set my traps in anywhere between 15/25 feet of water.......Whitto

Nah, havent got any more traps but have put aside some floats and rope, long as they get out in the water.

Got my big crab boiler, gas ring and bottle packed too.

Still recovering from the weekend here. I told the 'Minister for the opposition', 'The member for Chaos' I would be away fishing for the 25th so she organized a for the weekend before.

I Fished the passage yesterday with a mate up from the south for F'All but a nice day.
The Newcastle crew left this morning so I will catch up on some and
git my $#it sorted. to get away tomorrow.
