Sounds good Nip, what depth of water do you chase the redclaw in? Just want to get some rope and floats done up.

It is a bit cooler now so they won't be quite as prolific but you should still get a few.

    Pete.

ill be honest im no expert on them but i like to have them deep and shallow to test a few spots over night and pick the best depth that i seem to get the most in. So i have about 28 feet of rope to cover all bases
I think with the cool weather they may have slowed down abit but once it stabilizes abit we will do ok cross fingers, legs, arms ,and anything else that will cross

Damm should try and type when you have only had 3 hours sleep after night shifts

Simon passed on this cake recipe

RUM AND RED BULL CHRISTMAS IN JULY CAKE

    INGREDIENTS
    1 cup water
    1 tsp baking soda
    1 tsp salt
    4 large eggs
    1 cup white sugar
    1 cup brown sugar
    2 cups dried fruit
    Lemon juice
    Nuts
    1 can of Red Bull
    1 bottle of Bundberg Rum

    METHOD:
    • Sample the rum to check the quality. (VERY IMPORTANT)
    • Take a large bowl, check the rum again. To be sure it is of the highest quality, pour one level cup of rum and mix with a little Red Bull and drink.
    • Turn on the electric mixer, beat one cup of butter in a large fluffy bowl.
    • Add one teaspoon of sugar. Beat again.
    • At this point it is best to make sure the rum is still OK
    • Flavour with Red Bull to taste.
    • Try another cup – just in case, turn the mixerer off.
    • Break two leggs and add to the bowl and chuck in a cup of dried fruit.
    • Pick fruit off the floor. Mix on the turner. If the fried druit gets stuck in the beaterers, pry loose with a drewscriver.
    • Shample the rum to check for tonsisticitiy, flavour with Red bull .
    • Next, ssifffft two cups of salt. Or something… Who giveshz a shi*
    • Throw a pinch of Bed Rull over your shoulder. Pick up the can, mop the floor. Check the rum (shee steps 3 and 4).
    • Now shift the lemon and strain your nuts.
    • Add one table. Add a shpoon of shugar, or somefink. Whatever you can find.
    • Turn the cake tin 360 degrees and try not to fall over.
    • Don’t forget to beat off the turner.
    • Finally, throw the bowl through the window, finish the rum and kick the dog.
    • Fall into bed.

Cool Re: SOMERSET SESSION Midyear Muster 25th July

Deano you are of course right!

If all else fails it seems there will be plenty of bait if you are that way inclined.

The edges and the schools if you can find 'em. It is bloody frustrating to find a school and give 'em everything only to produce nothing. Slow roll sliders I think are the go when the bludgers are quite.
