SOMERSET SESSION Midyear Muster 25th July

I have just returned from Kirkleigh. The dam is FULL like it hasn't been full for more than ten years! Unfortunately that was not only the water but also the park. However not all are as keen as us to go there in the middle of winter .

Mostly good news but it does mean the usual camping spot on the grass on the water at B is now several meters under water . So the camping area is on the dirt and rocks among the trees as seen in one of my previous posts. There are other areas but this is the only spot we can leave the boats in if that matters. There is another area opposite 'E' on the map that is high and dry but on the grass.

What are you thoughts?

It will be great either way.

OK OK OK you have bloody well talked us in to it. TEAM LEGLESS may be there. If only so there will be someone to keep the fire bloody well going after all you guy's are tucked up in bed. Might have to see what private selection 30 year old port Steve can come up with.

Its a bugger you know. The big white tent will problably be gone by then. (I hope) might be able to afford that new 4stroke suzuki. Will freeze our tits off.

Daryl, it is a shame you are having problems with your ol' floppy! Guess it happen to you ol' buggers, but I think there is a blue pill that may help.

It concerns me that SteveB is coming - guess we will be a seeing a blue moon!

Kimmy, how does RR go warmed up

I moved to Qld not to get cold, but it seems it was not to be. Might have to dust off some more bottles of 30yr old port for this one.

Tony, if you get too cold, you can alway fire up the pearl and cuddle it all night into the donk in idle, but remember to love your boat, NOT love your boat.

Nagg, sunny side up, crispy bacon and white with none - thanks. On the keeping the camp fire burning bit with Mark - many have tried, but only few have succeeded (I be not one of them)

yes runny yoke for me and crispy bacon 2 slices of white toast and a glass of oj to top it off my father inlaw has left for sommerset today and will be out there for 5 to 6 days so i will get the reprot on whats doing out there from him and lets yas know

bloody horrid mate, the biatch went to mondy without me. .might end up in the courts.. .but i did get to sneek up to the noosa everglades, what an awsome waterway, just went for a look, but cripes,cant wait too get back up there , drop the leccy and flick like mad...any one got any info on the bass fushin up there.?? ..
