    Shimano TLD 2 Speed Reels

Hi, I am looking for a new reel that is capable of catching sharks in bass straight but I would also want it to be able to catch marlin and dolphin fish etc in queensland.
I am thinking about the Shimano TLD 50 Models. Do you think these reels would do the job?
Also would you go with the 2 speed model or just the standard TLD50.
I have seen there are 2 models that have 2 speed TLD 50 2spd or the TLD 50 2spdLRS.
Which model is better and which would you choose. They are roughly the same price.
    Thanks

    G'day,
I would choose ( and I own) a TLD 50 LRSA 2 speed. The LRSA has a better drag than the standard 50 capable of running as a 37kg setup as well as a 24kg. The 2 speed is also better. If you hook a big marlin or shark you have the 1.4:1 ratio to fight them in or switch into the high 3.5:1 ratio for a faster line retrieve. The TLD 50 LRSA is a much more versatile reel IMO.

    Cheers, Jado
