shane i have fished a few comps there and have never heard or seen any thing regarding barra, with all the lures in the water in these comps you would think someone would jag one if they still exist
No barra stocked there since 1994 and very few captures. They do live for around 25 years though, so who knows?
yes i see they stocked about50-60,000 back in 94 just wondering if they were still around or if they had a fish kill if still there you would think they would be huge by now might be worth a weekend away for something different to chase a few toga, bass and chuck a barra lure or 2 reading about the dam it appears to be pretty deep in places

Shane,
Was up there at Easter. Great place to fish. It was only 45% full and we were getting readings of over 30m deep on the sounder, near the dam wall. Have only ever caught bass in the dam and only ever seen bass caught, but have only ever been targeting them. It is a great place for a get away, but the skiers love it too.

All I want is to catch MORE legal fish!
How chockers was it. Did you get any fish in between the skiers. Hope to get up Labour day weekend. Any one else going.
A couple of very cold winters killed them off.
Water temp below 13 deg. not good for mr. Barry Mundy.
Chappy.
From what I have heard they stocked it with northern strain of barra and was to cold for them would love to see them try again with the southern strain, there is murray cod in boondooma seldom caught.
