Does any bait/tackle store out near Vic Pt sell live bait at all? Like live Yabbies?

I don't know about yabbies, but the little blue bait shop on the left hand side as your driving down to the point sells live worms when weather/tides permit. Budd's at Cleveland also sells live worms.

I know it's not what you asked for, but Budd's also has some good fresh dead bait at times e.g. mullet fillets, squid, scad. Depends on weather/availability/season.

Hi Mate,

I moved to Redland bay last year, having spent 13 years in Victoria Point , and I'd suggest you try Victoria Point bait tackle and Marine. They are 3/4 along Colburn Avenue on the left hand side. They can get just about anything you ask for it just depends on avaliability

They used to be located on Colburn Av, next to the Freedom Fuels Service Station.

Yeah tried the gu down near the point on the left last time but he didnt have any live baits available that time. Not to worry... Might just end up buying a yabbie pump and hunting my own
