    Vuplex on Clears

    I cleaned my perspex and clears on Sunday with Vuplex, the perspex came up a treat but the clears went cloudy. Is there any coming back from this? Was it a humidity thing, when I applied it it was pretty close to raining. The clears were in good condition before I started, I hadn't folded them from new and always washed them with soapy water after a trip.

    They have cleared up with aa bit of sun on them, will see how they go in a bit of moist air over the weekend.

    Meherio,

    I agree with sleepygreg - when I first got my boat it was 3 years old and while the covers were in good nick, the clears were cloudy.

    the best advice I was given was to install the covers on the boat, use Mr Sheen on them, and leave them to 'dry' in the sun for a few days.

    I didn't believe that anything could save them but they came back good as new.

    From memory it was the Lemon Mr Sheen that was recommended - not sure if it makes any difference though.
