    Ockoman,
The micro itself is one of the best lures I have in the box. I run them almost exclusively when in the estuaries, whether it be at round Hill Ck 1770 or the Bellinger River, Mylestom. They also work well int fresh water. Running them in 10-12ft of water they will catch just about everything including Bream, Snapper, Barra, Jewies, Whiting, Trout, Bass and Saratoga and would have to be the best Flathead lure on the market. The Nilsy colour is a standout in the saltwater with pink running a close second. I have just got onto the mega micro and have also found it to be a consistent producer.
The mini micro doesn't seem to hit the water much from my boat. I don't know why, I guess it's just because I'm confident using the micro and the mega micro.
I have used the mini micro on the end of my fly line when fishing for Togas at Borumba and Cania. The astro and cosmo colours are great in the fresh water for bass and togas. I reckon the mini micro would be great on the bream and whiting.
Have you used the mini much and what for?
    John.

    Ockoman,
Keep casting mate. You'll eventually hook up!
Try casting it in shallow water over a bank where you can see yabby holes. Your bound to get a flathhead, whiting or bream. Use very light line for best results.
You could also try using some bread for berley before casting around the pontoons. This will bring the bream in!
    John.
