trailer lights
hey all,
Just wondering about a light that is on my trailer and what it has or can be. I have the brake and indicator lights on the rear of the trailer, then my number plate is on a bracket on the right hand side wheel arch with a light above it.
The one that is, or well was, on there is stuffed and needing replacing but it is a brake/park light which i find weird as it is less than 20mm above the number plate and i thought it should be a white light that illuminates the number plate.
Any thoughts on this?
Should it illuminate the number plate, or should it just be the round brake/park light that it is?
any info is welcome,
cheers,
Chris

Re: trailer lights
any light above the number plate should have a clear section at the bottom so that when the tail light is on it shines red to the rear and white down. If it is all the way forward on the wheel arch it could just be a single white light that shines downwards only. 4x4 stores sell a led one in just white facing down.
Cheers
Chris
