Hey Brian, Congrats on the new Rig mate, she looks a pearler. That fuel gauge will soon go down if you start chasing Tuna around. Good stuff mate and have fun.
All the best

Hi Brian,
I didn't think the boat would look that good. The decals on the side are great and there is more than enough shade to keep your head cool.
It is also really great to see you so happy with the end result. Saying nothing about the old Mustang but you really can't compare the two.
I am truly happy for you Brian. Well done.

Well I have chatted to you a couple of times and seen the boat, stood in it whilst on dry land but not yet taken the opportunity to personally congratulate you for having it. Seriously it is a fantastic boat and I am genuinely stoked on your behalf that you have it. You have worked so hard to be in a position to be able to afford it and made do with the old boat for what seems to be an eternity so well done. Being such a close relative I also know how much work it was to convince your minister for finances that you needed to upgrade. I never thought she would agree to it but here you are with photos as evidence that you are now the proud owner of a fine vessel. Not sure how you did it but well done.
Now that I got all the mush out of the way, when the hell is it my turn to go fishing in it? lol

Thanks, it has been a long time coming. The minister for finance is really probably sick of my whinging over the years every time something else broke on the old cheapy. It's the same reason people buy new cars instead of 2nd hand ones, and turn them over every couple of years, so they can expect reliable motoring more often than not, hopefully the boat will do that for us.
As for the "when the hell is it my turn to go fishing in it?" I have had it for a little over a week, turn it up!!We'll get into full swing pumping out some Jigheads in heavier weights, I need to burn 150 ltrs of fuel, and so far, my little trips here and there are not making a dent, so watch this space.
Scalem
My point exactly. A whole week and I haven't been out yet?![]()
You know I am having a lend of you.I have been a little too busy anyhow to even think of getting my own boat out and the weather hasn't been too kind either. Things should settle down soon I hope. Let me know when that jighead making session is going to be and I will come over and help you pump them out.

Wow, I havnt been reading up as much as usual and didnt know this was coming. Bloody nice rig there mate, well done and congratsWhat size is it ? Of course it had to be a snapper for first fish on board (whatever the size) The first of plenty more to come im sure!
Im sure everyone you know is already lining up, but if your ever short of a crew for an offshore trip, let me know.
PML Brian! Maybe you stumbled across one![]()
... Mate, why would you want a spot X at the Pin when you have that rig?! I'll be nailing you for Spot X's for when i get the shiny new rig myself, which coincidentally is chosen... but have to wait till the new house goes up first as i have nowhere to house it till then...
Take Care T
Hi Marc.
The Yalta triple 5 is 5.55mtrs with a pod, so overall length is actually 6 mtrs. I think that's how they come up with 6mtrs

PML mate, that is funny!! Let me know what you are planning
Scalem
Sounds like a fantastic maiden voyage for the rig AND the family. Well done Scalem. And as for Poodroo.....make the bugga sweat it out a little longer pmsl.

Words can't describe how impressed I am with your new boat. She looks great, the ride is excellent, the fuel economy fantastic, the list goes on...
Thanks for the top day on the water. And I guess it's ok if you're gonna make me drive her around while you lounge around enjoying the creature comforts on our next trip.
Wasn't the drive-on back at the ramp a breeze? You handled it perfectly.
I've got another extension lead for the pressure cleaner, so a thorough clean at my place in now possible.
Congratulations on a great purchase. I'm sure you and your family (and friends) will get much enjoyment from her.
Cheers
Brad
What would Steve do?
fortes fortuna adjuvat
don't you know PAL!!!
With all the recent cyclonic weather, a bar has formed in Tiger Mullet!!
maybe we can catch some snapps the other side of it??
Hi Scalem, well what a great boat, 3 good looking girls as well, must try for a trip together soon Auntie S
